| Welcome to Classification & Compensation |
|
The classification systems at UNL have been
adopted to facilitate the systematic evaluation of office/service
and managerial/professional positions and to assign positions
with similar work and responsibility to similar pay grades.
A position classification is based on a variety of factors:
duties performed, scope and level of responsibilities assigned,
nature and extent of supervision received and/or exercised,
and minimum qualifications required for a person to perform
the duties assigned to your position. You may view complete
listings of classification pay grades and titles at the Circulation
Desks in the reserve sections of Love Library and C.Y. Thompson
Library. These documents are listed as: UNL Office/Service
and UNL Managerial/Professional. |
