Schedule
Our goal is to have new employees attend New Employee Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.
If you're past 30 days and didn't make it, don't worry, we would still like for you to attend!
Welcome
We are glad to have you as a new employee at the University of Nebraska. The information reviewed within this orientation website is basic information most new employees typically want to know.
Although the information in the insured benefits section of this website pertains to all faculty and staff members of the University, the information in the policy section pertains only to managerial/professional and office/service employees.
The University attempts to help you meet your personal responsibilities at the same time you are fulfilling the responsibilities of your job. In order to do this, the University offers employees assistance such as family/medical leave, the Employee Assistance Program, a flexible benefits package that you can tailor to meet you particular needs, and flextime. We believe the information contained in this website helps demonstrate this commitment.
The University is also attentive to the needs of its customers - students, administrators, citizens, and its employees - and it is our responsibility as employees to deliver responsive and empathetic customer service.
We are pleased that you have visited us at our website and we hope this information is helpful to you. We hope your employment with the University is mutually rewarding. Please call us at Human Resources (402) 472-3101 if you think we can be of any help. Thank you!
