New Employee Orientation Sessions

Purpose

No reservations are required to attend!

New employees are encouraged to bring along their benefits booklet. If you wish, you may bring beverages or snacks.

The purpose of New Employee Orientation program is to welcome new employees and share key employment information. Our goal is to have new employees attend New Employee Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.

The exact room location will be posted at the Union on the day of the orientation. Employees attending New Employee Orientation at the City Campus may park at the 17th and "R" Streets parking garage. You may use your temporary parking permit, which you received in your new hire packet. There are free shuttles, which will take you from the parking garage to the Union at 14th and "R" Streets.

Nebraska East Union
The exact room location will be posted at the Union on the day of the orientation. Employees attending New Employee Orientation at the East Campus may park in the lot north of the Nebraska East Union (off of Fair Street) using your temporary parking permit, which you received in your new hire packet. There are free shuttles that can take you around East Campus and transport you to and from City Campus. Information on the shuttle can be found at http://parking.unl.edu/transit.
