Retirement Plans - Supplemental Retirement Plan

A University employee who is not eligible to participate in the basic retirement plan or who may want to tax shelter additional salary dollars may open a Supplemental Retirement Annuity (SRA). The University does not contribute to any SRA. The maximum amount you may deposit into an SRA depends upon several factors and may change from year to year. Consult the Insured Benefits Office to determine the maximum amount you may deposit. Employees may place funds with TIAA/CREF and/or Fidelity Investments; both financially secure investment companies.
