A University employee may purchase life insurance for a spouse in the amount of $10,000.00, $20,000.00 and $50,000.00. A spouse may not be insured for more than the employee. Any amount of coverage over $10,000.00 requires evidence of insurability and is subject to denial by the life insurance company.

A University employee may purchase $50,000.00 of life insurance for each dependent child under age 19, or age 24 if attending school full-time.
