HR Training for Supervisors

Looking for one-stop shopping?

Learn about UNL Human Resources practices and policies in one 3 1/2 hour seminar. Taught by five UNL HR managers, participants will learn about hiring, compensation, risk management, workers compensation, employee assistance program management referrals, employee relations practices (including Family Medical Leave and Human Resources policies), employee engagement, employee performance planning and customer/student service approaches.

  • Target Audience:  New supervisors, existing supervisors wanting refresher and new information of HR policies/practices, administrators, chairs or anyone with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Training Schedule & Location:
    • Wednesday, October 1, 2008 8:30 am - 12 noon City Union
    • Wednesday, April 1, 2009 8:30 am - 12 noon East Union
  • Enrollment:  Up to 50, minimum enrollment is 15
