HR Training for Supervisors

Performance Management

Supervisors will learn to develop and practice strategies for engaging employees through performance management by:

  1. Setting the right tone through planning, establishing goals and setting expectations
  2. Using effective feedback and coaching techniques
  3. Understanding performance documentation and developing action plans and that help improve performance

Supervisor Communication Tools for Difficult Conversations

Supervisors will learn how to communicate with employees about crucial issues by:

  1. Understanding the steps for preparing for a difficult employee performance conversation
  2. Preparing yourself emotionally for the conversation
  3. Building confidence for handling difficult conversations
  4. Being successful at meeting the goals of the conversation
