If an employee needs to be absent from work due to COVID-19, the the following options are available.
Work From Home
Employees in positions where working from home is an option, may request approval from their supervisor for remote or alternative worksite arrangements.
If an employee is unable to work from home, leave-eligible employees may request to use current paid leave options subject to applicable polices. Available leave may include sick leave, vacation, floating holiday, compenstory time earned and crisis leave.
Employees who are not leave-eligible or have exhausted their paid leave options may request a leave of absence without pay.
