We celebrate the talent and dedication of all regular employees who complete intervals of five calendar years of service, calculated on consolidated or continuous regular employment with a service award. During the Celebration of Service each fall, employees may pick up their award.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has tentatively scheduled its annual Celebration of Service on Oct. 2, 2026, to honor 870 employees who achieve five-year service milestones this year. The event will be held at the Coliseum with a lunch served for all employees.
