Information for employees leaving university employment

Access to Electronic Services

Employee Access to Electronic Services

Employee access to electronic services using the employee's online identity (MyUNL and TrueYou) will end on the last day of employment (separation date or appointment end date). Employees will be able to access Firefly for up to 90 days beyond the separation date. Emeriti faculty/staff that have active appointments will retain access, per department instructions.

Reminders

  • Ensure the employee has moved all departmental files from their OneDrive to either the department's SharePoint or shared network folder before their last day.
  • If the employee is moving, have them update their address in Firefly so they will receive their W-2 for the year. They may also need to change their banking information to receive their final paycheck.
