To help you plan your trip to work, here are some transportation resources.
- Driving: You can buy a parking permit in person at 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A, or online. ⟨⟨Insert information if a temporary parking pass is included⟩⟩
- City Bus: StarTran bus passes are available at no cost with a regular university parking permit. Passes can also be purchased online.
- Biking: If you plan to bike to campus, please register your bike with the University Police Department (UPD) and Lincoln Police Department (LPD). You can also review the university’s bike rules and safety information.
- Nebraska app: Download the Nebraska app to access campus maps and other helpful resources. The app works on Android and iPhone devices.
If they are relocating to Lincoln: We also want to welcome you to Lincoln, Nebraska. We have attached a list of local resources to help you get settled. It includes information about restaurants, attractions, fitness centers, neighborhoods, schools, and parks. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to help with your move.
When you arrive, we will show you your workspace and introduce you to your teammates. We want you to feel comfortable and supported from day one, so please let us know if there is anything you need.
Your coworkers are looking forward to meeting you. We have also planned a lunch on your first day so everyone can get to know each other.
